Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Hardware Design & Development Engineer with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in circuit design and PCB development. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of embedded systems and be eager to grow in a multidisciplinary hardware-software development environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop analog and digital electronic circuits based on project requirements.
  • Create and modify schematics and multilayer PCB layouts using tools such as KiCad, or Eagle.
  • Assist in component selection considering performance, cost, and availability.
  • Work closely with the embedded development team to ensure hardware-software integration.
  • Support prototype development, testing, and debugging of hardware.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of designs, revisions, and test results.
  • Participate in design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1+ year of experience in hardware circuit design and PCB layout.
  • Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB design software (e.g., KiCad, Altium Designer).
  • Basic understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers (e.g., STM32, NXP, TI, or similar).
  • Knowledge of common interfaces: UART, I2C, SPI, etc.
  • Experience with basic testing tools: multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers.
  • Good documentation and communication skills.

Good to Have:

  • Exposure to embedded C or firmware development.
  • Experience with debugging tools like JTAG/SWD.
  • Understanding of power electronics or RF design (bonus).
  • Hands-on experience with soldering and assembling prototypes.
