Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Hardware Design & Development Engineer with at least 1 year of hands-on experience in circuit design and PCB development. The ideal candidate should have a foundational understanding of embedded systems and be eager to grow in a multidisciplinary hardware-software development environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop analog and digital electronic circuits based on project requirements.
- Create and modify schematics and multilayer PCB layouts using tools such as KiCad, or Eagle.
- Assist in component selection considering performance, cost, and availability.
- Work closely with the embedded development team to ensure hardware-software integration.
- Support prototype development, testing, and debugging of hardware.
- Maintain accurate documentation of designs, revisions, and test results.
- Participate in design reviews and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 1+ year of experience in hardware circuit design and PCB layout.
- Familiarity with schematic capture and PCB design software (e.g., KiCad, Altium Designer).
- Basic understanding of embedded systems, microcontrollers (e.g., STM32, NXP, TI, or similar).
- Knowledge of common interfaces: UART, I2C, SPI, etc.
- Experience with basic testing tools: multimeters, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
Good to Have:
- Exposure to embedded C or firmware development.
- Experience with debugging tools like JTAG/SWD.
- Understanding of power electronics or RF design (bonus).
- Hands-on experience with soldering and assembling prototypes.
