PDRL at NIDAR 2026

PDRL proudly participated as a Supporting Partner at NIDAR 2026 (National Innovation Challenge for Drone Application & Research), a flagship national-level drone innovation competition organized by Drone Federation India in collaboration with MeitY. The event brought together some of India’s brightest young engineering minds to design, build, and demonstrate drone-based solutions for real-world challenges.

Event Overview

NIDAR 2026 was conducted from 10th January to 16th January 2026 and witnessed participation from over 200+ collegiate teams across India. The competition focused on two core challenge areas:
• Precision Farming – leveraging drones for smart agriculture and sustainable spraying systems
• Disaster Management – deploying drones for rapid response, relief, and recovery operations

PDRL’s Presence at the Event

As a Supporting Partner, PDRL actively engaged with participants, mentors, and organizers throughout the event. PDRL showcased its indigenously developed drone technologies and components through a dedicated exhibition stall, providing students hands-on exposure to Made-in-India DroneTech products.

Our team interacted closely with student teams during flight demonstrations, offering technical insights, guidance, and support related to flight controllers, navigation systems, and overall drone integration. PDRL’s stall also served as a point of reference for students seeking reliable components and spares during live flight trials.

Key Highlights

  • Exhibition stall showcasing PDRL’s indigenous drone hardware and software solutions
  • Direct engagement with 200+ student teams, innovators, and researchers
  • Knowledge exchange on drone manufacturing, system integration, and real-world deployment
  • Strengthened connections with academia, startups, and ecosystem stakeholders
